In the Defense segment the company provides solutions for Personal Armor, Vehicle Armor and Special applications. In the Industrial segment, TAML offers solutions for the Energy, Medical and Transportation segments.

Set up in 1990 & promoted by Tata Industries Ltd , TAML was conceived as an Aerospace Industry. By virtue of this composite technology, it has applications in Defense & Industrial sectors. TAML made its footprint in this industry with contracts from concept to product in Defense & Industrial sectors. In 2003 with the emphaisis on the people private parternship, TAML ventured into the aerospace sector with a contract from a space customer.
Today, TAML has two Business Groups – Defense and Industrial Composite Division(DICD), Aerospace Division with independent team comprising of Sales and Marketing, Program Management, Design and Engineering, Production supported by corporate team comprising of Quality, Human Resources, Materials and Inventory and Finance
